Photos tell the truth faster than any claim we could make. A tide mark is the line water leaves on a wall, and it’s the first thing our technicians look for on every job. The projects below show real Houston restoration work: what we found, what we did, and how it looked when we left. These aren’t staged showroom shots. They’re documentation from actual job sites across the city, from Meyerland slab leaks to Kingwood attic floods. Every project ends with a photo of the cleanup before the crew departs, so you see exactly what was done and how it was left.

Water Damage Restoration: Burst Supply Line in a Galleria-Area High-Rise Condo
Before
AfterThe problem: a braided steel supply line under a bathroom vanity gave out around 2 a.m., and by the time the homeowner woke up, water had traveled through the wall cavity into the adjacent bedroom, wicking up the drywall to a 14-inch tide mark. What we did: our crew cut the drywall to the tide mark and two inches past, set a Dri-Eaz dehumidifier and Phoenix axial air mover on a drying plan, and placed Injectidry mats on the hardwood to pull moisture from the subfloor. The result: the condo was dry in five days, no flooring had to be pulled, and the wall was rebuilt, textured, and repainted. Shoe covers went on at the door; drop cloths covered the floor before the first piece of equipment came in.
Mold Remediation: Attic Mold from a Slow Roof Leak in Cypress
Before
AfterThe problem: a roof flashing failure near a plumbing vent had been letting Houston rain drip onto the attic sheathing for months, and by the time the homeowner noticed a musty smell in the upstairs hallway, the mold had spread across roughly 80 square feet of OSB. What we did: we set up a sealed containment zone with negative air, ran a HEPA air scrubber throughout the job, and treated the affected sheathing with an EPA-registered antimicrobial before applying a sealant. The result: air samples came back clean, the sheathing was stabilized without a full roof deck replacement, and the homeowner got a written report with before, during, and after photos for their file. We asked before we moved anything in the attic, and explained the price before the work started.
Fire Damage Restoration: Kitchen Grease Fire in a Montrose Bungalow
Before
AfterThe problem: a grease fire on the stovetop sent soot through the entire first floor of a 1930s bungalow, with the worst damage concentrated in the kitchen cabinets and the ceiling above the range. What we did: we cleaned every cabinet interior and exterior with a dry sponge method first, then wet-cleaned with a degreaser matched to the cabinet finish, sealed the interior surfaces with a shellac-based primer to lock in any remaining odor, and refinished the floors where the soot had settled into the grain. The result: the kitchen smelled neutral again, the original Craftsman-style cabinets were saved, and the homeowner didn’t lose a single cabinet door. The homeowner’s insurance adjuster worked directly from our photo documentation and itemized scope, and the claim moved through without a fight.
Water Damage Restoration: Washing Machine Overflow in a Katy Two-Story

The problem: a washing machine drain hose slipped out of the standpipe on the second floor, and water ran through the floor joists into the living room ceiling below, leaving a brown stain the size of a card table and wet insulation in the cavity. What we did: we opened the ceiling at the tide mark, removed the soaked insulation, and set a drying plan with a B-Air air mover and Dri-Eaz dehumidifier running on a lower-decibel setting during the day. The result: the ceiling cavity was dry in three days, new insulation went in, and the drywall was patched, textured, and painted to match. Most jobs in a home this size run between $2,800 and $4,600, and the homeowners saw the written number before we cut a single hole.
Mold Remediation: Under-Sink Cabinet Mold in a Heights Craftsman

The problem: a slow drain leak at the basket strainer had been dripping into the cabinet base for long enough that the particleboard floor was soft and covered in dark mold, and the homeowner was worried it had spread into the wall behind the cabinet. What we did: we removed the cabinet floor, inspected the wall cavity with a moisture meter and borescope, treated the framing with an antimicrobial, and replaced the cabinet base with exterior-grade plywood before reconnecting the plumbing. The result: the cabinet is solid, the wall cavity tested dry and clean, and the homeowner’s kids and pets were never in contact with the affected area because we kept the work contained. We used a pet-safe drying agent where there was a choice, and the whole job was done in a single afternoon.
Fire Damage Restoration: Electrical Panel Fire in a Pearland Garage

The problem: an electrical panel in the garage shorted and caught fire, and while the fire itself was contained quickly, the smoke had coated every surface in the garage, the laundry room, and part of the kitchen in a greasy film. What we did: we cleaned the garage and laundry room surfaces with a dry sponge first, then wet-cleaned with a degreaser, ran a HEPA air scrubber for two days to pull smoke particles out of the air and off the walls, and sealed the garage drywall with a stain-blocking primer before repainting. The result: the smoke smell is gone, the garage is back to being a garage, and the homeowner didn’t have to replace a single wall. The homeowner appreciated that we explained the price before the work, and that the written scope matched the final invoice to the dollar.
